How to Update Facebook From Google Without Using Any Extension

Facebook provides each user with a unique email that they can use to update their Facebook with. This way you can email a status update, picture, etc. without needing to access the site or the app, plus it works with any email address.

We can use that email address to cross post from Google+, allow me to share the ways to configure that:
1. Login in your Facebook account and go to http: //www. fb. com/mobile/. Down the middle of the page you will have an email address contact info that begins with a number of random characters accompanied by “@m. fb. com”. Copy it.

2. Go to your Google+ Bags page. Create the new circle (I simply just called “Facebook”) and add the e-mail address that you just copied because only person inside the circle.

3. Now just post as you normally could but include a new circle from the post and check the boxes to notify by email.

4. Facebook requires a couple a few minutes to update but does work, I’ve tried it several times. It should likewise work via any browser as well as the mobile iphone app (although We haven’t tried it yet). Test it.

Update: You can probably use the same method to update Twitter at the same time with among several other websites that include tweet through email, but I’m not comfortable making use of those services because they are third party.

Update 2: Unfortunately it looks like your text will cut off after about 50 characters using this method. This is because Facebook uses the subject of the email as the status and Google+ truncates the subject text in the notification email. Right now I don’t think there is a way around this but I suggest that you use Google+’s “Send Feedback” function and request more subject text in the notification emails. Who knows, maybe they will consider changing it.

Update 3: Now that Google+ has had some time to grow, I found that this extensionisprobably the best method of cross posting. Seriously, it rules.
